Hanging Fire
Hanging Fire
The main idea of the poem is about a black boy who was treated unfairly by the world. The poem is not a simile. It has no rhyming and no beat to it. It is really sad about the boy and the things that he has go through. I think that his mother has committed suiside because she is always in her room and she doesn't seem to care for her own son. The stanzas of the poem is in short sentences. I imagine that this poem means a lot to the author since it could be him, the poor black boy.
